New Homes

Waltham Forest’s emerging Local Plan states that the Council has to deliver 27,000 extra homes by 2035 to meet the needs of the growing population.

The co-location approach will provide the opportunity to both retain employment land and aid the delivery of much-needed new homes in an area identified as a Strategic Location for new homes and jobs.

We are at the early stages of design, but our initial research indicates that the site could support approximately 360 homes, including 35% affordable housing (subject to viability), alongside the new employment space.

At our next consultation, we will be providing much more detail on the new homes, including details of parking, building heights, design, and public and private open spaces.
