Masterplan Aims

At this early stage, we have identified a series of aims that would guide the development of the masterplan:

  1. Improve the public realm and recognises the pedestrian desires for access to key amenities
  2. Improve connectivity with adjacent neighbourhoods
  3. Create a hierarchy streets for movements, including a rationalised approach to servicing
  4. Enhance biodiversity and greening across the masterplan
  5. Ensure retention of industrial capacity and identifies areas for increased industrial floor area and functionality
  6. Identification of sites for potential co-location with residential or other non-employment uses
  7. Establishes maximum heights across the masterplan using townscape and massing assessment
  8. Protects employment by retaining existing occupiers and businesses and potentially increase employment
